My name is Athena Getsi. I was born and raised in the Toledo area! My mother made sure we all were in the Catholic Church as much as possible, she even made up “holy days” to get our butts there! I’ve been in ministry since I was a freshman in college and have been the youth minister at St. Joseph’s in Maumee for four years. I have a deep calling to spread Jesus to all those around me, especially teens! I met my husband through youth ministry and we have two boys under five!

But the cool thing about me is that I followed God to St. Rose in Perrysburg not long after I graduated college where I became a youth minister. I’ve had a passion to lead others closer to Christ since I was a teen in high school and I’m lo.oking forward to where He continues to lead on this wild journey towards Heaven!
