Video Version

Audio Version

Episode Description

Death comes to us all and suffering is an unavoidable reality. So in this episode we discuss what it means to “die with grace”. Through our discussion we address euthanasia, medically assisted suicide, suicide, and redemptive suffering. As Catholics we believe that both suffering and death can have dignity and meaning when united with Christ. And we believe that society and the government should NOT dictate whether or not a person’s life has value.

“…that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”

Philippians 2:15

Ellen Holmes Steeves-LeBlanc is a mother of three grown children, has, since childhood, felt God calling her to "something" greater. Her entire life there had been a tug, many inexplicable moments, a gentle nudge and then the thought, "What do you want from me, Lord?" It took fifty years for her to finally answer the call, "YES LORD, Here I Am!" As it turns out, that "something" was an intentional and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through multiple initiatives including: a devotion to the Sacraments, a Contemplative Pilgrimage Ministry, a non-profit called Destined4This, Inc, Book Writing, A Blog and a podcast.
