13. The Time of Singleness
In this episode, Megan and Morgan address the topic of singleness. While acknowledging that the single state is not, properly speaking, a vocation in and of itself, Megan and Morgan nonetheless emphasize the beauty and potential fruitfulness of this season of life. They claim that the way we approach singleness is what determines our ability to enter our vocations in the most beautiful way possible. Ultimately, they conclude that the key to living the single state can be found in John Paul II's notion of "original solitude" in his Theology of the Body, where Adam is both wholly fulfilled by his perfect union with God and yet still longs for "a helper fit for himself".
